Kristina Priceman is a Chicago-based violinist known for her melodic integrity and uncanny ability to complement a song.  She began her classical training with the Suzuki method at the age of four in Atlanta, Georgia.  Upon moving to Oak Park, IL with her family, she continued her studies with Stacia Spencer as a part of the Northwestern String Academy.  During this time she was also a member of the Chicago Youth Symphony, began competing, and realized her love for performing.  This passion led her to study violin performance under Dr. Bernard Zinck at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she received her bachelor’s degree on scholarship.  While in college, Kristina traveled with Dr. Zinck to Italy on three occasions to perform in various Opera Festivals.   It was also during this time that she joined an Americana band, and started touring both nationally and internationally.  Over the past eight years, Kristina has developed her musical style through exploring Americana, blues, pop, rock, heavy metal, and anything else that’s been thrown her way. Kristina has had the pleasure of performing with a number of groups all over the world and been featured on many albums as a violinist and vocalist.
